Zyp BikeShare (Birmingham, AL)
West persistently worked to launch bike share in Birmingham by building community support, political will, and private sector sponsorship. West, as the Director of Zyp, executed all facets of actually operating a year-round bike share system.
Baton Rouge BikeShare (Baton Rouge, LA)
Bantam worked with Toole Design Group and Baton Rouge Are Foundation on the finalization of the 2016 Feasibility and Implementation Plan for the system. Bantam is contracted to manage and implement the bikeshare plan, which includes government affairs, community engagement, and sponsorship procurement. Bantam completed the federal and local funding applications and is currently assisting the City-Parish with Request for Proposals for the capital equipment, installation, and site planning for the system. The system is expected to launch in Spring 2019.
St. Tammany Parish (St. Tammany Parish, LA)
Bantam is currently consulting for St. Tammany Parish which focuses on bringing bike share to five communities along the 30-mile Tammany Trace and will serve the tourist and residential population with active transportation.
Bayou Bikeshare (Lake Charles, LA & Sulphur, LA)
Bantam is currently consulting with for the Cities of Lake Charles and Sulphur, LA including McNeese State University to evaluate the feasibility of a bikeshare system and the implementation plan to bringing an interoperable system serving these communities and university.
East Alabama Bikeshare (Anniston, Oxford, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State University, AL)
Bantam is currently developing a multi-city bike share system for Anniston, Oxford, and Jacksonville, AL which focuses on bringing an interoperable system to three communities which will serve the downtown Anniston area, Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Jacksonville State University (JSU) and parts of the Chief Ladiga Trail in Jacksonville. This system launched in January 2019 with Veoride!
Natchitoches Bikeshare (Natchitoches, LA and Northwestern State University)
Bantam is currently consulting with for the Cities of Lake Charles and Sulphur, LA including McNeese State University to evaluate the feasibility of a bikeshare system and the implementation plan to bringing an interoperable system serving these communities and university.
Gotcha Bike North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR)
Bantam assisted North Little Rock with a competitive interview process to select a vendor that suited the communities needs for advancing mobility! Gotcha Bike will launch in 2019.
Truckee Meadows BikeShare (Reno, NV & Sparks, NV)
Bantam consulted for RTC of Washoe County which focuses on bringing bikeshare to the City of Reno and City of Sparks as an active transportation network that serves the citizens and visitors of Washoe County. Bantam conducted a Industry Product Review and Core Criteria workshop with local leaders in November 2017. Bantam and local parties continued on with the relationship, and Bantam successfully assisted the City of Reno, City of Sparks, Washoe County, Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, and University of Nevada, Reno with a regional bikeshare launch on May 2018.
Mobile & University of South Alabama BikeShare (Mobile, AL)
Bantam assisted the City of Mobile and the University of South Alabama (USA) through a tailored bikeshare consulting and implementation process which led to a bikeshare vendor selection and contract negotiations (approved April 2018) and the bikeshare system launched in downtown Mobile and on the USA campus on August 15, 2018.
Pensacola BikeShare (Pensacola, FL)
Bantam collaborated with Pensacola, FL in 2016 and 2017 under an agreement with the West Florida Regional Planning Commission to aid in developing a bikeshare system for the downtown.
